Live from PASS Summit!

I Need Your Input

I’m writing this week’s (early) edition from the floor at PASS Summit, surrounded by some of the sharpest people in the SQL Server world. Being here, hearing new ideas, seeing how differently people approach the same problems – these all remind me that the most valuable topics often come from real struggles, not from a presenter’s outline.

So instead of my usual style, I want to hand the mic to you.

If you’re an Accidental DBA or you manage one, what SQL Server topic would you love to see explained clearly in a future edition?

  • What’s confusing or murky today?

  • What problem did you face recently that you'd like clarified?

  • What do you wish someone would break down without assumption or jargon?

  • Or even: “We’re probably doing this wrong, but I'm not sure where to start.”

Hit reply to this email or drop a comment directly in the newsletter. A simple sentence or situation is plenty, but feel free to expand. I’ll anonymize anything before using it unless you expressly tell me I can credit you for the topic.

Your answers this week will drive my next round of newsletter topics.

I’m surrounded by brilliant people with wildly different perspectives right now…it seems like the perfect time to broaden mine, too.

Thanks,

Kevin
